Helen Callus is inspiring to her students as both performer and teacher. She is a rare find, a teacher who is constantly developing her craft and innovating in her field. Ms. Callus’ teaching is creative and inspirational; she will say something you have never thought of before in every single lesson. She has taught me how to practice in a way that is fun, thoughtful, efficient, and musical, and I leave every lesson a better violist.
