Mitsuru Kubo

During these last four years of studying with Prof. Callus, I have gained so much that has contributed towards my practicing and my performing abilities. Through my lessons with her, I have created a strong foundation for my practicing habits and have achieved an attitude towards performing like never before. Her emphasis on sound production and performance intent has given me a deeper insight into my future endeavors as a performer. My studies in technique and musicality have excelled significantly. Prof. Callus has guided me in fulfilling my goals as a musician and has provided me with the necessary tools to become a successful violist.
